Maybe you're a lifelong Ohioan. Maybe you're about to marry one. Or maybe you just inherently know that Ohio is wonderful.
If you fit any or all of those categories, are planning a wedding and want to pick a venue that distinctly says Ohio, here are a few places to consider:
1. Rock 'n Roll Hall of Fame, Cleveland
Nothing says "I love you" like vows spoken from within Ohio's signature glass pyramid on the shores of Lake Erie, laden with treasures ranging from John Lennon's Gibson to Bono's American flag-lined jacket worn at the 2002 Super Bowl.
With the Rock Hall's "Rent the Rock" package, guests are invited explore all seven floors of the museum as they dance the night away in the presence of the stars (or at least their autographed photos).

2. Ohio Stadium, Columbus
"Getting married at OSU on the football field and hosting your reception there can be a bit more expensive than other places, but you will get a venue worth every penny," writes Devon Layne Day, who got married at Ohio Stadium this past September.
"Everyone we worked with was more than accommodating; they paid attention to our wants and needs and did everything they could to make our day everything we envisioned."
If you and/or your partner live and breathe Buckeyes, look no further for the wedding venue of your dreams — scarlet and gray bridesmaid dresses not included.

3. Landoll's Mohican Castle, Loudonville
If Frodo Baggins married Rapunzel, this would be their venue. Nestled in the woodsy hills near Mohican State Park, Landoll's Mohican Castle exudes a vibe of medieval-fantasy-meets-natural-retreat. The picturesque facility offers 15 suites, each uniquely named and decorated, as well as two cottages.
The setting is perfect for a seasonal outdoor wedding, while the adjacent banquet hall makes for convenient access to reception festivities.

4. Hocking Hills
Every outdoorsy Ohioan is familiar with this gorgeous natural setting. Natural chiseled caves, sparkling waterfalls, plenty of foliage — a Hocking Hills wedding is a nature lover's dream come true.
Whether you choose to say your vows at a Hocking Hills wedding chapel, a local bed and breakfast or at the foot of the often-photographed Ash Cave, it's sure to be a ceremony to remember.

5. Malabar Farm, Lucas
It was good enough for Humphrey Bogart and Lauren Bacall in 1945 — why not you?
The 875-acre Malabar Farm State Park is on the site of the estate of the late Louis Bromfield, a Pulitzer prize-winning author and conservationist. The picturesque grounds encompass a 32-room mansion, restaurant, hiking trails (you know, to walk off that wedding cake) and loads of photo-ops.
Another great spot for weddings in the buckeye state is The Grand Barn Wedding Center in Glenmont. For more information on this beautiful location check out www.themohicans.net
